Buhari Reacts To Rumour Of Being Cloned

President Muhammadu Buhari has responded to the reports that he was being cloned when he was ill. The President stated that he would turn 76 soon and would remain strong as he has always been. Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Mr Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this on Sunday via his Twitter handle.

According to him, President Buhari made the remarks while responding to a question on the matter during a meeting with Nigerians in Poland. It is real me… I will soon celebrate my 76th birthday and I will still go strong.” — President @MBuhari this evening in Kraków, Poland.     The President is in Poland to take part at the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), otherwise known as COP24. He will join 29 Heads of Government for the ceremonial opening of the conference which is expected to take place on Monday.

At the event, President Buhari will deliver a national statement highlighting Nigeria’s commitment to addressing climate change by implementing the goals set out in its nationally determined contributions. The conference is expected to finalise the rule book in the implementation of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change reached in December 2015 in France.
