(LOCAL) El-Rufai Loses Elder Brother

 

   Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has lost his elder brother, retired AVM Aliyu Ahmed El-Rufai .

   The late AVM died at the age of 71. A family source who confirmed the death to our correspondent said the late AVM died in the early hours of Saturday at a hospital in Abuja after a protracted illness.

  The source said the late AVM is survived by a wife and six children and that his Janaza will take place at Sultan Muhammad Bello Mosque, Kaduna, after the Assar prayers as arrangements are being made to convey his remains to Kaduna today.
