(SPORTS) Kemi Adekoya, Four-Time Asian Games Gold Medalist & 2016 World Indoor 400m Winner Test Positive To Drugs

 

   Kemi Adekoya, a four-time Asian Games gold medalist and 2016 world indoor 400m champion tested positive for an anabolic steroid.

   The 25-year old Nigerian who presently represents Bahrain, accoridng to the Athletics Integrity Unit, has been provisionally suspended after she tested positive for the banned substance stanozolol. Confirming a ‘notice of allegation’ against the athlete, the unit revealed that Adekoya tested positive for the drug in November 2018.
