INEC declared Dapo Abiodun, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun state, as winner of the governorship election.
He polled 241,670 votes to defeat Adekunle Akinlade, governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) who oilled 222,153, leaving a margin of 19,517 votes.
