Ministers Hold First Federal Executive Council Meeting With President Buhari



 
  President Muhammadu Buhari and his new cabinet on Wednesday held their first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting. The FEC meeting which held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, came three weeks after Buhari swore-in the ministers on August 21.

  The ministers were said to have used the last three weeks to get familiar with the operations of their new offices. Before the meeting went into closed-doors, President Buhari reminded the ministers that they must not fail Nigerians.

  In attendance at the meeting were Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Head of Civil Service of the Federation Service, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita; the National Security Adviser, Maj. – Gen Babagana Monguno (retd).
