TREM daily devotional 18th November 2019- ALL YOU NEED IS CHRIST

“Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? Knowing that it was the Lord.”
John 21:12 KJV

Jesus told the people what to expect. He told them He was going to be crucified, He was going to die, He would be buried and on the third day, He would resurrect.  But in John 21:3, guess who said ‘Look, we have waited for this man and He is not out, I am going back to my fishing business. A bird in hand is better than 10,000 in the bush.’ Just after three days!  That is what some of us do, we play games with God.

Andrew Wommack daily devotional 18th November 2019- Fight The Battle In The Spirit

John 18:10 'Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.'

JOHN 18:10-11
It is the apostle John who reveals Peter as the one who cut off the servant's ear and also identifies the servant. It is very doubtful that Peter was aiming for Malchus' ear. It is more probable that he was making a horizontal swing at the servant's head and as the man ducked, Peter cut off his ear.

Kenneth Copeland daily devotional 18th November 2019- Do You Know What to Ask For?

And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

Mark 10:51

All of us know what it's like to go round in circles. To pray our way through one financial disaster only to be met by another. To receive healing for one illness just in time to be knocked off our feet by the next.

Oh, we try. We pray. We exercise our faith. But we keep getting caught in the same old problems over and over again. Why? Because all too often, we don't actually know what it is we need to be praying for.

Billy Graham daily devotional 18th November 2019- Pure Hearts

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
—Philippians 2:5
It is impossible to live pure lives until we have pure hearts. Many people today are trying to put the cart before the horse. They are teaching purity of motives, desires, and actions to old, deceitful hearts! No wonder we have ended up such moral failures, in spite of our vaunted knowledge and psychological approaches.
