The lawmaker representing Cross River North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Rose Oko, is dead.
Late Senator Oko died on Monday night at a medical facility in the United Kingdom, at the age of 63. Until her death, the lawmaker was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Trade and Investment. She was also a former member of the House of Representatives.
