  Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has put pen on a new contract to remain at the club until 2022. Simeone’s previous deal ran until June 30, 2020 and was agreed in September 2017. The 48-year-old said at that time that his decision to sign had been based on the team keeping hold of stars including Antoine Griezmann, Koke and Saul Niguez.
