Ronaldo, Messi Lead 2016 FIFA Awards Shortlist

     

     Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi lead the contenders on the 23-man shortlist for the 2016 best FIFA Men’s Player Award. Real Madrid quartet of Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric were also shortlisted.

        The daughter of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Adetona got married to her heartthrob, Olanrewaju Oladiran in Ijebu Ode today November 5th. Guest at the wedding include Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and one of his Oloris; the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and a host others.

      Ni Linmei a 60yr old woman from China's Shanxi province has not cut her hair since 1998. It has grown to 11ft and 9inches. Having such generous locks can be problematic and time consuming, she once got her hair trapped in an elevator and spends all of two hours a day just washing and drying it.
