Federal Government begins payment of N5,000 monthly stipends to poor Nigerians.

 
 As part of its determined efforts to touch the lives of Nigerians positively the Buhari administration has started the payment of N5, 000 monthly stipends to the poorest and the most vulnerable in the country through the Conditional Cash Transfer, CCT, of its Social Investment Programmes, SIP.

    Schlupp's Leicester team-mate Daniel Amartey was included as was another English Premier League player, Andre 'Dede' Ayew of West Ham. Aston Villa's Jordan Ayew - Andre's brother - was one of three English Championship players named, alongside Christian Atsu of Newcastle and Andy Diadom of Barnsley.

    An industrial plant is capturing the CO2 emissions from a coal boiler and using the CO2 to make valuable chemicals. It is a world first and just 100km away is the world's biggest solar farm, making power for 150,000 homes on a 10 sq km site.

Ex-Female Chief Judge Olateru-Olagbegi Is Dead

 
   Mrs. Gladys Olateru-Olagbegi, former Chief Judge of Ondo state, is dead. A source said to be from the Omitowoju family where Mrs. Gladys Olubunmi Olateru-Olagbegi was born, said she died after battling with an undisclosed illness.
