Lagos State Governor unveil plans to integrate the six States in the South West region to the food security drive


 

   Lagos State Governor,  Akinwunmi Ambode yesterday unveiled plans by his administration to integrate the six States in the South West region to the food security drive of the State Government especially in addressing the demand and supply deficit for the overall benefit of the people.

   President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday approved the appointment of Dr Faisal Shuaib as the Executive Secretary of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA).

NUPENG suspends strike

 
   
 National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG)  suspended its three-day warning strike, which began yesterday, following a resolution reached with government, International Oil Companies (IOCs), and other stakeholders in the industry over the contentious issues, staving off another round of debilitating fuel scarcity that would have hit the nation.
