Naira gains more as CBN pumps in $180million


     In less than one week, the naira has gained over N85 against the dollar, as a result of the increased liquidity in the foreign exchange market.

    Maje Ayida through his lawyers, led by ‘Kemi Pinheiro SAN of Pinheiro LP, has initiated legal proceedings at the High Court of Lagos State against Toke Makinwa and Kachifo Limited, the publishers of the book “On Becoming”. Maje is suing them both, to the tune of One Hundred Million Naira, and has requested the court to donate any damages awarded to four charities to be nominated by him.

I will not receive salary until workers are paid - Akeredolu

  The Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu has vowed that he would not collect any salary until the issue of the state workers salaries ‎were resolved.

     He appealed to the doctors and nurses who are currently on strike to end their industrial action and embrace dialogue with his government.



   Akeredolu stated this in Akure, Ondo state capital while formally meeting with the workers in the state civil service on Monday.
