Lagos @ 50’ celebrations scheduled to start on May 27

 

   Though some artists in the music industry had complained against not being involved in the  preparations ahead of the upcoming programmes of ‘Lagos @ 50’ celebrations scheduled to start on May 27. They said that neither the state government nor the planning committee had reached out to them.

Brown Ideye finally confirms his move to Chinese club, Tianjin Teda

 Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has finally confirmed his move from Greek club, Olympiacos to Chinese Super league side, Tianjin Teda.

He wrote on Instagram:

97 Nigerians deported from South Africa

 

   The South African Government has deported 97 Nigerians, made up of 95 males and two females. The deportees, who allegedly committed various criminal offences, landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos in a chartered aircraft with the registration number GBB710 from Johannesburg, on Monday night, February 27th.

TLC To Release Album In Summer

 

    TLC's fan-funded album is set to be released this summer. The girl group - consisting of Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins, 46, and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas, 46 - created a page on Kickstarter in January 2015 to help raise the necessary funds to create their fifth and final studio venture.
