     Singer Duncan Mighty AKA, Port Harcourt first son and wife, Vivien, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The couple got married  July 2015 and already have a one year old son.

3 Corpers In Benue Who Found Missing Money & Returned It

 

  The Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, has given cash rewards to three Corps members for returning large sums of money found at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Benue State. They are Eno Sunday Jesam (BN/17A/1536), Ezenwa Chidera (BN/17A/1718), and Timothy Deborah Elewechi (BN/17A/2233).

Herdsmen attacks responsible for high cost of garri- Farmers say

   

    The Nigeria Cassava Growers Association says the unending attacks by herdsmen on farmers and their products nationwide, is largely responsible for the scarcity in cassava products such as Garri and Fufu and the increase in prices of these food items. In the last two months, there have been over 100% increase in the prices of staple foods such as Garri, Fufu and others.  A paint bucket of Garri which used to go for N400, now goes for N1000 or more, depending on the location.
