The Senate has confirmed the nomination of 82-year-old retired Justice Sylvanus Nsofor (Imo), whose appointment was rejected by the lawmakers and renominated by President Muhammadu Buhari, as ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
George And Amal Clooney Welcome Their Twins
Hollywood star, George and his wife Amal Clooney have welcomed twins. The couple welcomed a baby girl Ella, and a boy, Alexander, on Tuesday morning in England.
'This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives,' a spokesperson for the 56-year-old actor said in a statement.
'Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.'
'George is sedated and should recover in a few days.'

Military Plane Carry 116 People Goes Missing
Myanmar military plane carrying 116 people went missing on Wednesday between the southern city of Myeik and Yangon, according to the office of the army chief and an airport source
“Communication was lost suddenly at about 1:35 pm (07:05 GMT) when it reached about 20 miles west of Dawei town,” the commander-in-chief’s office said in a statement.
