Two South African communities give Nigerians residing there quit notice

 

    Two South African communities,  Kuruman community in Northern Cape Province and Klaafontein community, Extension 5 in Johannesburg, have reportedly given the Nigerians residing there quit notice.
   According to the President of the Nigerian union in South Africa, Ikechukwu Anyene, the Klaafontein community, have directed landlords in the area not to renew the rent of Nigerians residing in their properties while the Kuruman community in Northern Cape Province have given Nigerians till tomorrow June 16th to leave their community.

  The Acting President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osibanjo met with Igbo leaders at FCT Abuja in continuation with his wide consultations with the leaders from both South East (Igbo) and North, following the ultimatum on the quit notice issued to Ndi Igbo by a coalition of Northern youths a week ago.

NAFDAC waive 50 percent of the registration fee for locally manufactured products


   

    National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has waived 50 percent of the registration fee for locally manufactured products in a move aimed at incentivizing the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, SMEs, sub-sector.
