    Senate President, Bukola Saraki, today swore in Ademola Adeleke, the senator elected to represent Osun West in the Senate. Adeleke takes over from his brother, Isiaka who died suddenly in April.

Man United Name Michael Carrick Captain Following Rooney's Exit

    Following Rooney's exit, Manchester United have named midfielder Michael Carrick as club captain. Carrick, 35, is the club's longest-serving player, having joined in 2006, and replaces Wayne Rooney in the role after his move to childhood club, Everton.

Osinbajo returns to Abuja

   The Nigerias Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is back in Nigeria, after a visit to President Muhammad Buhari on Tuesday night. According to Laolu Akande, Osinbajo’s media aide, the acting president will preside over federal executive council (FEC) meeting at Abuja by 11 am on Wednesday.
