   Former US president Barack Obama has selected New-York based artist, Kehinde Wiley, to paint his official portrait.

Monkey pox patient commits suicide

 

   A victim of monkey pox receiving treatment at the Niger Delta University Hospital (UNDTH), Okolobiri, Bayelsa State, has committed suicide. It was gathered that the victim, whose name was not disclosed, hung himself early yesterday.

Kanu Nwankwo launches N1b lotto



    Nigerian football legend Kanu Nwankwo has launched the N1 billion Jackpot Lotto to Support Kanu Heart Foundation which was inaugurated in 2000. The foundation has helped not just people in Nigeria, but also paid for 538 children to be treated at facilities throughout the world.
