Nnamdi Kanu absent in court as co-defendants are arraigned for treasonable offenses



     The leader of the proscribed secessionist group IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, was conspicuously absent at the Federal High Court in Abuja today October 17th. Kanu was supposed to appear in court for the resumed hearing of the felony charges leveled against him and three others by the Federal government.

88 year-old German grandma is sentenced to 6 months in jail for Holocaust denial



    A German court on Monday sentenced an 88-year-old 'Nazi grandma' to six months in jail, the fifth in a string of similar convictions for the repeat Holocaust denier. Ursula Haverbeck has often denied the mass murder of millions of Jews by the Nazis, which constitutes incitement of racial hatred under German law.

   The National Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, Otunba Gani Adams has been installed as the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo designate of Yorubaland by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi saying it was based on his antecedents in the promotion of Yoruba culture.
