Third Mainland Bridge Reopens

 

  The Third Mainland Bridge has been reopened, three days after it was temporarily closed for investigative maintenance test. The bridge was reopened on Sunday, hours after the Lagos State government revealed in a statement that it would be opened for use ahead of schedule. In a tweet, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) thanked the people of the state for their cooperation while the closure lasted.

PDP Reacts To Police Inviting Fani-Kayode On Tuesday

 

  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged the Nigeria Police to come out clear on the ‘fact-finding’ invitation, extended to former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode. Fani-Kayode has been asked to appear on Tuesday, over “alleged conspiracy, criminal defamation and inciting publication.”

Ghana arrests 37 Nigerian Traders, Closes 10 Shops

 
  The Inter-Governmental Task Force constituted by the Government of Ghana to regulate retail trade has arrested and detained 37 Nigerian traders. Also, about ten shops have been locked up at the Tip Toe Lane at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle by the Task Force since it began the latest round of inspection of shops last week.

Before his death, he had served the United States of America faithfully for sixty years”. Trump, in a tweet on Saturday evening said: “My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are with you!”
