For a President in a democracy to suspend the CJN is totally unacceptable, a clear breach of the rule of law and the constitution and a manifest violation of the principle of separation of powers. President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen. Following the suspension, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed has been appointed as the acting CJN.

Amanda, 4-year old was sold in Enugu State while Christabel 2-year old was sold to a couple believed to be living in Port Harcourt, River State.
