(POLITICS) Appeal Court Affirms Ayogu Eze APC Guber Candidate

 

   According to Thenationsonline, court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Thursday affirmed Senator Anyogu Eze as Enugu state guber candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Saturday governorship election.

(LOCAL) Army Sets Up Committee To Probe Alleged Misconduct During Election

 

  The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, made this known at a meeting with Principal Staff Officers, General Officers Commanding (GOCs), and Commanders at the Army Headquarters in Abuja. Mr Buratai explained that the committee was constituted to ensure that “all cases’’ were thoroughly looked into so as to“dispense justice.’’

    Jimi Agbaje, the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, has denied stepping down for another candidate as widely being speculated.     MTN Group says it will list Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in the first half of 2019, after recording very positive trade numbers in 2018 fiscal year. The telecommunication giant made this disclosure in a mailed statement seen by TheCable on Thursday, as its results showed a total revenue of 37,971,000,000 South African rand (N965.3bn).
