     Heavy traffic gridlock as Angry protesters made up of mostly women and teenagers block the ever busy Effurun Roundabout demanding for improved electricity supply from BENIN ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY (BEDC) yesterday 3rd July. Northern Coalition Gives Governors 30-day Ultimatum To Adopt ''Ruga''

   The coalition of northern groups (CNGs) has issued a strong warning to governors who are opposed to the Ruga settlement programme to reconsider their decision within 30 days.

   The federal government had announced the suspension of the Ruga initiative it proposed to resolve the clashes between farmers and herdsmen. This was after the controversy that had trailed the project since it was announced in June. While some governors welcomed it, others had said it could lead to more attacks on communities.
