Customs Seize N1.818b Worth Of Goods
The Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC) Strike Force team in the zone seized contraband with over N118 million DPV between May and last month, its Coordinator, Deputy Comptroller Usman Yahaya, has said. President Buhari Cancels Printing Of Nigerian Passports Abroad
President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled all contracts for the printing of e-passport abroad. Femi Adesina, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, made this known in a statement released on Thursday saying the printing will now be the sole responsibility of the Nigerian Security Printing & Minting Company (NSPMC). This new directive means all existing contracts concerning printing passports and other documents will not be renewed.
