Barcelona confirm the signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid for €120million

 

  Barcelona have confirmed the signing of  Antoine Griezmann in a deal worth €120 million from Atletico Madrid.

PDP and Atiku/Peter Obi’s witnesses attacked by unknown gunmen


     

   The witnesses the Peoples Democratic Party and Atiku Abubakar were allegedly attacked by gunmen.  Following the attack, Justice Mohammed Garba adjourned hearing on the PDP and Atiku /Obi Petition to Monday, the 15th of July 2019. Raising an alarm over the alleged attack on its verified Twitter page on Friday, the PDP tweeted;

Presidential Panel Announces Recovery Of Over N3 Billion From Two Civil Servants

 
   Special Presidential Investigation Panel on Recovery of Public Property (SPIP), on Wednesday, said it has recovered over N3 billion from two senior officials by the Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF). The panel named the officials as Goody Nnadi, who is the General Manager, Corporate Services at the Fund, and Aisha Usman, the General Manager, Operations.

Gov. El-Rufai Swears In New Commissioners



   The Kaduna state Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has sworn in 13 new Commissioners to man ministries in his second term. The Governor had nominated 14 cabinet members to the State House of Assembly but the nominee for the Ministry of Agriculture was rejected by the assembly over his earlier criticism of the El-Rufai administration.

Air Canada flight experience severe turbulence, 37 injured

 

  At least 37 people were injured on board an Air Canada flight after the plane hit severe turbulence and had to make an emergency landing. The plane, carrying 284 passengers and crew, was travelling from Vancouver to Sydney but was diverted to Hawaii.
