Luke 19:8 ‘And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.’

Luke 19:1-8

Zacchaeus was rich but Jesus made no demands for him to give away all his goods to the poor as He did with the rich young ruler. Zacchaeus had already repented and money was no longer his god, as was revealed by his actions. It seems that Zacchaeus was going above and beyond the requirement of restitution as stated in Mosaic law by offering to give half of his goods to the poor and to repay fourfold for his theft.

Court Affirms Decision Of APC To Conduct Indirect Primary Election In Kogi State

 

     A Federal High Court in Abuja has affirmed the decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to conduct indirect primary for the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi State.  READ:  Davido Buys Lamboghini

  Justice Taiwo Taiwo approved the party’s choice on Monday and dismissed two suits filed by some APC members in Kogi, challenging the party’s choice of mode of primary to be adopted for selecting a candidate for November 16 poll. The first suit prayed the court to determine the true leaders of the party from the two sets of members of the party in the state, claiming entitlement to its leadership.

Gov. Ihedioha Appointed Suspect On FBI List Into His Inauguration Committee

  Chika Odionyenma, one of the persons on FBI’s 77-man list of suspected Nigerian fraudsters, was appointed into the inauguration committee of Emeka Ihedioha, governor of Imo state, TheCable reports. There have been reactions since Thursday when the agency disclosed that many Nigerians were under investigation in connection with one of the largest scams in US history.

   The news of Ihedioha’s alleged alliance with Odionyenma is coming just hours after the photo of Keyamo with another suspect went viral. TheCable saw a copy of the letter on the appointment of Odionyenma into the committee which planned the governor’s inauguration.
