Nigerian lady, Jumoke Ayedun arrested for duping an elderly woman in U.S



      A Nigerian woman Jumoke Monsurat Ayedun has been arrested in New Jersey, United States after she scammed an elderly woman of $17,000. Using the old 419 trick, Ayedun had told the woman, who later became her victim, that the victim was eligible for a grant of $75,000 from the United Nations Democracy Fund Program.

MC Oluomo bags award for street credibility from Kwame Nkrumah Leadership awards and All African Student Union

 

   Chieftain of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, MC Oluomo, bagging an award for his street credibility from the All African Students Union and the Kwame Nkrumah Leadership awards. The award was presented to him on October 7th and he shared the photos on his IG page.

2020 Budget To Be Passed On November 28

 
  The 2020 Appropriation Bill proposal presented on Tuesday to the joint sitting of the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari will be ready for passage on the 28th of November, 2019.

   This was disclosed by the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Mr Benjamin Kalu while addressing journalists after the presentation of the budget proposal by President Buhari on Tuesday in Abuja. According to Kalu, the National Assembly has a desire to reverse the budget calendar to January-December.
