Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. – John 15:8

There’s an old Full Gospel tradition that says God gets glory from the wonderful way His children bear pain and agony and that the world is impressed by that. What a lie! That’s simply a tool of the devil to keep God’s children in bondage.

People of the world already have all the pain and agony they want. They aren’t looking for a way into it. They are looking for a way out. They don’t care what you preach. It’s the religious people who get worried about that. The world, the sinners, are smarter than that. All they care about are the results.

Text: Revelation 18:21-24

Key Verse: “And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all” – (Revelation 18:21).

International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War estimated in 2013 that two billion people would starve in the wake of a limited atomic bomb war between only two countries. Then another study said after such a war, there would be no heat from the sun as burnt stuff would absorb the heat before it gets to the earth. Instead of rain, there would be black carbon. Chemical reactions in the atmosphere would eat away the planet’s ozone layer which protects earth’s inhabitants from ultraviolet radiation. The experts predict that the decrease in the protective cover may lead to more sunburns and deadly skin cancers as well as reduced plant growth. That is what the scientists refer to as the Nuclear Winter, a long descent into destruction.

“For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.” – Hebrews 10:1 KJV

Jesus has been made a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. The Aaronic priesthood had margins for failure but not Jesus: our High Priest. Remember that the standing of the high priest is your own standing. If he is good, you are good. If he is bad you are bad. If he is perfect, you are perfect. If he is holy, you are holy. If he is just you are just. If he is successful, you are successful. Understand your standing today.

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. — Matthew 7:8

One day I woke up with a throbbing headache. I walked around with that miserable headache almost all day, telling everybody I met about how terrible I felt—until I finally realized that I had complained most of the day and had never taken the time to simply pray and ask God to take the pain away.

Memorise: “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,” – 2 Peter 1:2

Read: Genesis 6:5-8 (KJV)

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
