Police Parade Suspected Killers Of PDP Woman Leader In Kogi State

     The police command in Kogi state have arrested six people in connection with the killing of Salome Abuh, PDP woman leader in the state. Mrs Abuh was burnt alive in her house during the collation of the November 16 governorship election result.

   The Kogi State governor, Mr. Yahaya Bello, has faulted Punch newspaper’s characterisation of President Muhammadu Buhari as a dictator.

   Governor who spoke to State House Correspondents in Abuja on Thursday also pointed out that those who interpreted the report of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) to mean Kogi State is the poorest in Nigeria were quoting the agency out of context.

Then one day as I was studying The Amplified Bible, I came across Proverbs 16:3. Immediately, I latched on to this verse and began to use it in my life—and I can tell you now from experience, it works!

Always remember that every battle affecting any believer actually belongs to the Lord and not the believer. God told Jehoshaphat and Israel in 2 Chronicles 20:17: “ye shall not need to fight in this battle. Set yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord”. Many of you are fighting when it is not a physical fight.

If God is all-powerful and all-loving, it would seem inconsistent with His nature to allow anyone to be lost. Here again we rationalize because we do not understand the nature of God. God cannot go against His own laws and against His own nature. God is holy. He cannot tolerate sin in His presence. He created us free to choose how we would live.
