Boeing 737 Plane Crashes In Iran Kills 176 Passengers

 

   All 176 people on board a Ukrainian passenger plane were killed when it crashed shortly after taking off from Tehran on Wednesday, Iranian state media reported.

20 feared dead in Kano autocrash


    No fewer than 20 people have been feared dead in an autoncrash in Kano on Wednesday. According to eyewitness account, the accident occurred at Tsaida village near Gaya town in Gaya Local Government Area of Kano state.

Air France and Russia suspend flights over Iraq and Iran airspace

 

  France’s airline Air France and Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency known as Rosaviation, have announced the suspension of flights over Iraq and Iran's airspace.  In a statement released by Air France on Wednesday January 8, the French airline said the suspension became necessary to ensure flight safety.

Nigeria listed for possible war crimes by ICC


    The office of the prosecutor of the international criminal court (ICC) has listed Nigeria among 11 countries currently under probe for alleged war and international human rights crimes. The probe was announced in ICC's end of the year report on preliminary examination activities.
