Governor Seriake Dickson raising alarm over security issues in the state


   Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa state is raising alarm over alleged gathering of arms and ammunition by some persons with the aim of distabilizing communities in the State.


   Raising this alarm during the inauguration of the State Conflict Resolution Team with his deputy, Retired Rear Admiral John Jonah as chairman, the Governor explained that for some months now there has been security complains by some communities.

   He further charged the committee to put an end to such issues no matter who is involved and also the situations were communities rise against themselves, saying it is unlawful and should be stopped.

   Governor Dickson however said the newly inaugurated Committee has the mandate to work closely with security agents, intervene in disputes and maintain peace and order across the state.
