Manchester United is set to extend Jose Mourinho’s contract at the club, after only seven months as their manager.
According to reports, the club’s hierarchy will sit down with Mourinho at the end of this season, to discuss a one-year extension to the three-year deal he signed last summer.
United chiefs are reported to be impressed with the former Chelsea manager’s impact at the club, despite the fact they are currently outside the top four on the table.They are convinced that with time, Mourinho will bring back the glory days. In addition to the extended year, there could be the option for a further 12 months, which will tie Mourinho to the club until 2022. United will play Saint-Etienne in the last-32, next week.
