NYSC acquire 35 hectares of land for building of Skill Acquisition centre in Issele-Uku, Delta State


     In line with its Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development, SAED, National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, has acquired 35 hectares of land for the building of a Skill Acquisition centre in Issele-Uku, Delta State.



  The State NYSC Coordinator, yodeleOmotade, stated this during the flag-off of the 2017 sports and cultural festival with the theme ‘Harnessing the Youth Potential for Sustainable Development,’ at Issele-Uku.

   Welcoming the participants to the competition, Omotade said the Corps has ensured expansion of the orientation camp to effectively accommodate any number of corps members posted to the state.

  Earlier in his message, the Director General of NYSC, Brig General SuleKazaure, who flagged off the programme, said sports and cultural festivals would feature football for males, volley Ball for females, 100 and 200 meters race, dance, drama and comedy.
