Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Ugonna Ozuruigbo, has resigned from his position.
The lawmaker representing Nwangele constituency tendered his resignation in a letter he personally signed and addressed to the Speaker and members of the state House of Assembly on Thursday.
Ozuruigbo stated that he was resigning to enable him function well as a member-elect of the national House of Representatives.
