(LOCAL) EFCC Arraigns Four Yahoo Boys In Ibadan

 

    Ibadan Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, arraigned four suspected internet fraudsters before Justice P.I. Ajoku of the Federal High Court, Ibadan.

    The suspects, Adebimpe Babajide Quadri, Olajide Timileyin, Olubayo Oluwaseyi and Afolabi Wasiu, were separately arraigned on their respective charges.

   19 persons including seven school pupils and 12 adults, have been rescued from the three-storey building that collapsed in the Ita-Faji area of Lagos Island today Wednesday March 13th.

(LOCAL) National Industrial Court In Abuja Orders First Bank Of Nigeria Plc To Pay 2015 Retirees Their Entitlements

 

 
  The National Industrial Court sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, ordered First Bank of Nigeria Plc to pay its 2015 retirees their entitlements.

   Justice Sanusi Kado, delivering  judgment on behalf  of  Justices Benedict Kanyip and Rakiya Haastrup. Justice Kado in the judgment declared that the dispute between the parties was a Trade Dispute and the Industrial Arbitration Panel, IAP, had the jurisdiction to have listened to the matter.
The judge further declared that the respondents had authorisation to sue in representative capacity.

   Sodiq said after I paid her (Iya Shade)N32,000, she wanted me to lie to her brother and I refused. She became annoyed and said I wanted to tear her family apart; she told me to park out after my rent must have expired without giving me a notice to quit, but I still went ahead to make arrangements to leave.

   MPs voted down the prime minister’s deal by 149 – a smaller margin than when they rejected it in January, BBC reports. May said MPs will now get a vote on whether the UK should leave the EU without a deal and, if that fails, on whether Brexit should be delayed.

   She said Tory MPs will get a free vote on a no-deal Brexit. That means they can vote with their conscience rather than following the orders of party managers – an unusual move for a vote on a major policy, with Labour saying it showed she had “given up any pretence of leading the country”.
