    The Mercedes-AMG Brabus ‘900 one of ten’ is limited to just ten units worldwide and is capable of producing 900 horsepower. The German car customize has  ‘G65 AMG’s’ engine to become the fastest ‘V12’ 4×4 on the market with a top speed of 270 km/h (168 mph), and a 0 – 100 km/h (0 – 62 mph) of just 3.9 seconds.

Mexican teacher who brought wireless internet to village denied visa to US to collect award



     A Mexican elementary school teacher who won an award for his efforts to connect an isolated indigenous village to the internet has been barred from traveling to the US to collect the prize.

World Cheapest Fully Electric Car sold for N11M Unveiled By Tesla

 

  CEO and co-founder of Tesla, Elon Musk, has unveiled the world’s cheapest fully electric car, Tesla Model 3. The car, which was unveiled over the weekend cost $35,000 (N11,033,750 at official rate) for the standard version, while the long range version goes for $44,000.

First ATM in the world Clocks 50 Years

 

     The world’s first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) on Tuesday June 27, 2017 clocked 50 years. According to the Metro, the world’s first ATM was unveiled by Barclays at its Enfield branch in North London on June 27 1967.

     As a tribute to the golden anniversary, Barclays transformed the ATM at its Enfield branch into gold, added a commemorative plaque and placed a red carpet in front for its users.

27yrs Old Nigerian, Godwin Benson Wins UK Engineering Award With "Tuteria App"

 

    A tutoring app "tuteria" developed by a 27-year-old Nigerian has won an engineering award given by the UK's Royal Academy of Engineering. Godwin Benson designed Tuteria, a platform that links qualified tutors to students in their area and within their budget. He developed the platform based on the experiences he had as a tutor.

India Records First Successful Womb Transfer As Carried Out By Galaxy Hospital

 

   A 21-year lady has become the first person to undergo a womb transplant in India after her 41-year old mother donated her womb to her. The recipient was born without a uterus. “We will start to retrieve the uterus at around 9 am from the donor and transplant it in recipient,” Dr. Shailesh Puntambekar, the medical director at Galaxy Care Hospital, who led a team of 21 surgeons said before the surgery.

Check out minister of technology riding in a Made in Nigeria car with wooden body

    Minister of Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, rode in a Made in Nigeria car with wooden body at the annual “Technology and Innovation Expo” #Techno2017 in Abuja yesterday April 3rd.

   The maker of the wooden-body car named “Amara”, Ahmed Aliyu drove the car to the arena in company of the Minister.  Aliyu who is from Niger state, said he rode the car from Bida, Niger state to Abuja and used only 23 liters of fuel.  The car uses a motorcycle engine. All other materials used in the making of the car were sourced locally except the Wheel, engine and Tyres.

    81 year old Japanese woman  Masako Wakamiya  who began using computers at the age of 60 has just launched her first smartphone app. She says she felt compelled to do something after noticing a shortage of fun apps aimed at people her age.

     The AG600 is by far the world’s largest amphibian aircraft, about the size of a Boeing 737.

       The couple who gave birth in June, lives in ecuador. The transgender man, Fernando Machado who was assigned female at birth and his partner Diane Rodriguez, who was assigned male at birth, gave birth to a healthy child after conceiving with his transgender wife, making the couple the first transgender couple in South America to do so.

New Mercedes Benz Cars to Detect Car Parking Spaces in a New Piece of Technology


          According to Daily mail  Mercedes  Benz drivers will be able to find each other car parking spaces in a new piece of technology due to be released early next year. The project will notify drivers of vacant spaces when driving below 34MPH. Mercedes is working with parts supplier Robert Bosch GmbH. Both companies hope the technology will be available in early 2017. The software is initially being piloted on the E Class series.

        Airlander 10 was developed by Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV). It measures 302-foot-long by 142-foot-wide. It flies at an  altitudes of up to 16,000 feet and stay in the air for up to five days.
