John Terry leaves Liberty Stadium on Crutches after Chelsea's Draw with Swansea

       Chelsea player John Terry may not play for the Blues match against Liverpool on Friday evening after leaving the Liberty Stadium on crutches following the draw against Swansea.

Osinbajo Optimistic About Recovery from Recession





        Prof. Yemi Osinbajo,Nigeria’s Vice President has attributed the current economic recession in the country to the sharp drop in power generation, occasioned by vandalism by militants and the looting of the treasury among others.

Bag of Rice May Sell for N40,000 by December- Minister of State for Agriculture



         Lokpobiri Heinekein, minister of State for Agriculture, says if Nigeria fails to begin the process of producing its own rice, the cost of a bag of rice may shoot up to about N40,000 by December this year. He said this at a town hall meeting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital  yesterday.

      A male child was found on the street of Harrold Shodipo, GRA, Ikeja at about 10am on September 4th by a kind‎- hearted citizen, who after looking around for the child's mother, handed him over to the police.  According to the LIB Reader who sent in photos of the child, efforts to find her so far has proved abortive.
