Nigerian footballer and Fulham FC foward, Omatsone Aluko named English Championship Player of the Month

       Nigerian and Fulham FC winger, Omatsone Folarin Aluko, has been named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the month for October. The 27-year-old scored a solo effort against Barnsley, then had a hat-trick of assists in a memorable display against Huddersfield.

       President  Buhari has sworn in Walter Samuel Onnoghen from Cross River State, as Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN. The development found relevance in Section 230 subsection (iv) and Section 231 subsection (I) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria. Onnoghen would take over from Justice Mahmud Mohammed, who has just proceeded on retirement leave, though his appointment would have to be confirmed by the Senate.

Court grants Femi Fani-Kayode N50m bail

     Federal High Court Abuja, has granted former PDP Presidential campaign spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode, bail in the sum of N50m, and one surety in like sum. Fani-Kayode who was re-arrested by EFCC operatives last month, is standing trial for money laundering to the tune of N26m.
