     The mother had come to the Ram Snehi Hospital, in Jahazpur, complaining of pain during her pregnancy. She was instantly referred for a sonography scan and an ultrasound and they were told that she was carrying twins, but they did not discover that the other twin was parasitic, until after the birth.

Romeo Oriogun wins Brunel International African Poetry Prize

 

   Nigeria’s Romeo Oriogun, has been named winner of the 2017 Brunel International African Poetry Prize. The Prize is open to African poets worldwide who are yet to publish a full poetry collection.

Breaking News: Senate Steps Down Bill To Establish Peace Corps

   

   The Nigeria National Assembly, NASS on Tuesday 2nd 2017, stepped down the bill to establish the Nigerian Peace Corps. Most lawmakers in the chambers opposed the passage of the bill. The set-back followed the presentation by the committee on the bill chaired by Bayero Nafada.
