Barcelona have confirmed Ernesto Valverde as their new head coach


      Former Barca forward Valverde announced last week that he was leaving Athletic Bilbao after four years in charge. The 53-year-old replaces Luis Enrique, who revealed in March that he would leave the club at the end of his three-year contract.

Italian Designer Laura Biagiotti Dies At 73

   

    The designer who suffered a cardiac arrest and possible brain asphyxiation died early this morning Friday 26th May 2017. She isKnown for her luxurious cashmere pieces and pretty silhouettes, the acclaimed ‘Queen Of Cashmere’ was one of the top Italian female designers known globally. She started her career in the 60’s and quickly became known for her feminine and pretty cashmere designs. She also owns the popular ‘Roma’ fragance brand.

    20ft-long crocodile tied from a drain during a 10-hour operation died.  The one-tonne reptile was heard thrashing around after getting stuck in the tidal dam in Kapar, Malaysia, on Saturday night.

Tiger Woods Arrested For Drunk Driving

   

   Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida today on a charge of drunk driving, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. The 41-year-old golfer was arrested around 3am on Military Trail, south of Indian Creek Parkway in Jupiter.

Professor Abubakar Momoh Is Dead




     Nigeria has lost one of her renowned professors, Abubakar Momoh, who was a prominent Nigerian    civil society leader and director general of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Electoral Institute during his lifetime.
  Momoh, a professor, who sat on the board of several nongovernmental organisations, died early Monday, May 29, his associates said.
