EFCC interrogates former Kogi gov Idris Wada

   
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday quizzed a former Governor of Kogi State Idris Wada over N500 million, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign slush.

Italy probes deaths of 26 Nigerian women from migrant boats



   Italian prosecutors are investigating the deaths of 26 Nigerian women - most of them teenagers - whose bodies were recovered at sea.  There are suspicions that they may have been sexually abused and murdered as they attempted to cross the Mediterranean.

Car stolen in Abuja recovered in C/River – Police

 

   The FCT Police Command has said a car reported stolen at gunpoint in Zuba, Abuja was traced to and recovered from a buyer in Yamite, Cross River State.

Liberia Supreme Court Suspends Presidential Run-off Election

 

   The Liberian Supreme Court on Monday issued a stay order on the presidential run-off election earlier slated for Tuesday, until the electoral commission investigates claims of fraud in the Oct. 10 first round poll.
