Ebonyi State Government To Reconstruct 171 Primary Schools

 

   Ebonyi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Sabinus Nwankwegu, on Wednesday, said that the state government had approved the reconstruction of 171 primary schools across the state. He said N2 billion has been set aside for the project.

   Four days after a major health scare, Micheal Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson has died. He died at age 89 on Wednesday (June 27) morning after a battle with cancer, according to TMZ.

IGP’s Suit Against Senate, Courts Pick Sep 25

 
   A Federal High Court in Abuja  today fixed September for judgement on a suit filed by the Inspector -General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, against the Senate and its President, Bukola Saraki. Justice John Tsoho chose the date after listening to IGP’s lawyer, Alex Izinyon (SAN), argued on behalf of his client and urged the court to grant the plaintiff’s prayers.

FAAN Recovers 17 Vehicles From Ex-Officials

 

   The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has taken possession of 17 vehicles recovered from its former officials by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC). The vehicles were retrieved from officials of FAAN, who were removed from office in the last few years, but failed to hand them over to the authority.
