Young lady Who Almost Committed Suicide In Lagos Shares Her Story



   King Mavis Amarchi, a young lady residing in Lagos who almost committed suicide in Lekki December 5th has taken to Facebook  to narrate how God saved her from ending her life. I have been battling depression for six months and had no reason to continue living. On several occasions, i have attempted to take my life by overdosing on drugs or cutting herself but her mother always came through to rescue her. Read her story below..

Henry, Vieira’s Game Postponed In France

  The clash between Thierry Henry’s Monaco and Patrick Vieira’s Nice, has been postponed, the French league (LFP) said Thursday. Two other matches were postponed as well. The postponement came amid fears of more violent “yellow vest” protests in France over rising living costs.

  The current minister of State for Environment, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril, has been appointed as the Emir of Nasarawa Emirate in Nasarawa state. This was announced by the Nasarawa state government on Thursday.

Former Speaker, N’abba Dumps APC



   Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali N’abba, has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC). N’Abba announced his decision in a resignation letter released Thursday night. The former Speaker hinged his reason on what he termed ‘”the cavalier manner in which both the Federal Government, States controlled by the APC and the APC itself are being run.” His resignation letter reads.

Imo Speaker, 18 lawmakers dump APC, PDP; join Okorocha’s in-law in AA

 

   Nineteen out of the 27 lawmakers of the Imo State House of Assembly have joined the Action Alliance, AA, denouncing their memberships of the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party respectively. The Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Acho Ihim, announced this while during plenary on Thursday evening.
