Kwankwaso supporters back in APC

 

  A major political setback has hit the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Kano state, as several party big guns switched to the ruling All Progressives Party. Professor Hafiz Abubakar, former deputy governor of Kano state, who resigned recently to join Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, is one of the politicians who made his way back to the APC.

Senate Confirms Bolaji Owasanoye As ICPC Chairman

 

  The Senate has confirmed Professor Bolaji Owasanoye as Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). The lawmakers took the decision during Thursday’s plenary at the National Assembly in Abuja.
