   A Nigerian woman named Victoria Obaeze has become the third Nigerian to be sworn into Mayoral office in the United Kingdom. She then went ahead to break a record and become the first black woman to ever be the Civic Mayor of London Borough of Tower Hamlets, United Kingdom.

(FOREIGN) Woman Killed In Bourbon Street Shooting

 

  A woman was killed overnight in a shooting on Bourbon Street, authorities said early Thursday (May 16). Her name has not been released.
