Topic: Sin Has Wages [TREM Devotional 20 February 2019]

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 (KJV)

I know that we are in the dispensation of grace. Many people have listened to the message of grace and taken it too far. Beloved, error is truth stretched too far. You may be right, but when you stretch it way out of proportion, it will become an error.

I have heard people say that the moment you give your life to Christ, you can live anyhow and heaven is guaranteed. Child of God, yes, the moment you give your life to Christ, a new spirit is born inside you and you become a new man. This is perfectly true, and you are heaven ready. However, if you refuse to live above the mundane things, never forget: Sin has wages.
