No going back on Amotekun – Lagos Assembly

 

   The Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has declared that the new security outfit, Operation Amotekun, has come to stay in the state and the South West. The lawmaker stated this on Monday at a public hearing on a bill to establish the security operation in Lagos state.

   According to Obasa, the outfit had become important for the security of the lives and properties of the people of the region. “I’m sure we all recall the incidents before the establishment of Amotekun, the killings, maiming, kidnapping and their likes. “In the wisdom of our governors, they decided on Amotekun,” Obasa said.

Actor Chiwetalu Agu denies being sick nor needing money

 

   Veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu has opened up on viral reports that he is sick and in need of money and prayers to aid his recovery.

   A few days ago, a photo of a frail-looking Chiwetalu Agu surfaced on the internet, with his numerous fans in Nigeria questioning what could be wrong with him. But Agu, on his Instagram page rubbished the reports and said he is hale and hearty. According to him, he is in perfect condition and does not need help from anybody.

   High Court in Kaduna, on Monday ordered the Correctional Center, to allow leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zinat full access to medical services before taking their plea on April 23.
