Music teacher tests positive for coronavirus making leading London drama school shutdown

   

   A leading London drama school has shut because a teacher tested positive for the killer coronavirus that is rapidly sweeping the world.

   The prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, located in the heart of London, will be closed for up to 14 days as a precaution. The unidentified man, thought to be a music teacher, came into contact with a 'limited number' of students last week, the school admitted.

Imo judgment- Ihedioha begs for adjournment

 

     Sacked Governor of Imo State and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have again asked the Supreme Court for an adjournment to a later date for the hearing of their application for a review of the court’ judgment sacking Ihedioha.

INEC proposes 34 amendments to Electoral Act


    The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is proposing 34 amendments to the Electoral Act, it was learnt Monday.

   Its Director of Legal Services, Oluwatoyin Babalola, said there are certain shortcomings in the electoral legal framework that needed to be addressed through legislation. Also, Lagos State Resident Electoral Commissioner Sam Olumekun said the delimitation of constituencies was long overdue in accordance with the 1999 Constitution.
