 Rapper Slim Thug has tested positive for coronavirus amid the outbreak.  But the musician, 39, took to Instagram to warn others after he fell ill despite following precautions with masks, gloves and "everything on".

Ecobank shuts branch in Abuja after man dies of coronavirus

 

   Ecobank Nigeria Limited has closed its Wuse II branch in Abuja over Nigeria’s first coronavirus death. The bank said the victim, Mr. Sulaiman Achimugu, a former Managing Director of the Pipelines and Product Marketing Company, visited the branch twelve days before his death.

    In a statement on its verified Twitter handle, the bank said, “Nigeria, very sadly, this morning recorded its first death, which unfortunately was one of our valued customers.
