Federal Government Goes After Kanu, Igboho, Spares Fulani Bandits –Governor Ortom

   



   Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has again slammed the Federal Government for lack of commitment in tackling the security challenges in Nigeria.

  He stated that the security forces in the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration have demonstrated capacity with the arrest of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu; and Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho.

   Ortom, who spoke on Channels Television’s ‘NewsNight’ programme on Monday, therefore, challenged the Buhari regime to go after bandits and Fulani militiamen killing, raping and kidnapping people all over the country with the same gusto it has used to pursue separatists.

Nigeria To Receive 176,000 J&J COVID-19 Vaccines On Wednesday

   


   Nigeria is expected to receive 176,000 doses of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines on Wednesday. Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib, confirmed this at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

Man stabs wife to death after she threatened to divorce him

 


    A Ghanaian man identified as Emmanuel Okyere Baffour has been declared wanted for the alleged murder of his wife, Joyce Johnes Afi Jassika, after she threatened to divorce him. According to reports, he allegedly murdered his 26-year-old wife, on Thursday, August 6, at Degede, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
